FRISCO ft GLODIELOCKS - F*CKABOUT

Hey hey hey

meanwhile I am having such problems with the templates of my blog, or better said new blog SWEET VEE VEE - no more APPEAL TO THE EYE - it's been a hard choice but it was time to move on from something in my life and I decided to leave appealtotheeye behind, after 6 long years, but no worries, appeal to the eye soul will always be between us even if the style of streetstyles will change a little be...in a better way of course, and in this way I can be with you more often, not just every two months :)

I enjoy taking pictures and I enjoy blogging, sometimes also talking some s*it.

I want to post today a video, a music video, directly from the Grime scene, which is Frisco, the MC, to a different sounds and course much more fashionable and that can be appreciated by everyone else not just the lovers of it.

The video is full of colors and a lovely feeling.....the fucking about.. :)

Goldielocks, beautiful and awesome as always is showing a style that I L O V E too much. sporty, casual, stylish and COOOOL. sweet super cool, 1000 points to goldie, but Frisco is not jocking around either. In fact is one of the guys from the scene that has one of the best style....sometimes.....but more than any other average MC :)

Together with J2K as well, which is one of the MC with the best style I have to say.

So enjoy the basses, enjoy the sound, the style, the sun, the lyrics....enjoy it innit? :)

Hello my followers

Next days I will have an announcement to do, but as you can see this will not be APPEAL TO THE EYE anymore but SWEET VEE VEE . blogspot.com I will keep posting pictures of cool people I meet on my way but I'll add all that comes and get into my mind, the mind of Sweer VeeVee. I'll defo try to have the collaboartion of many other talented girls in fashion, music and design and art world, and of course this will lead to a bigger plan and bigger social broadcast network but that will be part of other news from another day :)

What I would like to do now is introducing you some guys JERMAINE and JAIME I had the honour to meet and who will do big things for this 2011. In Music of course, one of my biggest passions.

The songs I had the pleasure to listen to while in studio with them were awesomes, amazing, and will defo make you shake that SWEET bumbum.

Fashion - Inspiration and Music

Hello everyone and all my followers and supporters,

I'm back again been away for a while, with many other projects but I ain't going to leave you, never!
It's a promise

Today I want to post a video I loved, not especially for the subject, being that I don't actuallly know this girl (Grime has taken me away from all the music world :) ) But because being a girl with an amazing style and such an inspirational closet, most of the girls would defo like to have.

KIDS OF GRIME first solo exhibition and Y'OH street wear Launch

This month sees the launch of mens streetwear label Y’OH and photographer Kids Of Grime’s first solo photography exhibition.

The launch will be held at Pure Evil art gallery, situated in the heart of Hoxton. A pioneering force in the contemporary street art world, it consistently demonstrates it’s worth by exhibiting a myriad of young International and British artists as well as staging international shows; most recently in Berlin, Amsterdam, Sydney, Sao Paulo and most notably in Beijing.

The night will see Kids Of Grime aka photographer Verena Stefanie’s first solo exhibition and equally important the first ever Grime photography exhibition. Verena’s ‘documentary’ of grime has evolved into a project that involves all artists-emcees, moments, radio sets, studio sessions, something which goes behind the scenes and gives an insight into it, something to show in the future what was going in the present time. Although she has photographed numerous big names, Skepta, P Money, Newham Generals… she endeavours to show no partiality towards anyone, instead she supports talent over hype. Her work has also expanded into video and she also runs a website which is translated into Italian and Spanish in order to introduce the scene to people overseas. Her photographs are not only significant for the music scene but also for british culture. Kids Of Grime exhibition will be supported by Skullcandy.

Fashion Designer Kara Messina will be showcasing the Y’OH streetwear’s first collection “Heads Ain’t Ready”. It’s not your standard mainstream streetwear, prior to this Kara worked in high fashion for 6 years and has maintained that level of quality. Her skills as a pattern cutter allowed her to cut the collection herself so even the fit of the garments aren’t stereotypical to what’s around at the moment. She describes the silhouette as having a 90s feel to it “No skinny looks, Big Up oversize!”. Y’OH consists of outerwear, shirts and non-jersey tshirts. The context of the printed fabric used in the collection is set to blow your minds. Inspired by comparing Hip Hop to Grime; Mens transition from youth to adult; 90s Fashion; Subcultural affiliation to brands and functional performance garments. The market level is in between luxury and streetwear and will be sold on the online Y’OH store.

Y’OH and Kids Of Grime have collaborated on a project together for the event which is a series of photos that will be exhibted on the night of the show. There will also be a collaborative poster for sale to commemorate the evening.
