NUMBER Barcelona - Cool Shopping File

If you around and about Barcelona and you LOVE SHOES as much or even more than what I do, you should defo pass by and have a look at the shop NUMBER
It is situated in the heart of El Borne en el Barrio Maritimo.

Number is a project of Anna and Juan Carlos where their objective is to create a space which offers their clients fashion that is innovative and avant-guard.

Their main brand is SWEAR but in addition they also offer brands like SIX by SWEAR, ELEY KISHIMOTO, BERNHARD WILLHELM, and B STORE.

They also offer well-known brands like XD STYLE, LAURA LEES LABEL, PEOPLE'S MARKET, DEXTER WONG.

I've been going a lot to this shop when I used to live in the beautiful sunny city back in the days.

ITCHY AND SCRATCHY SHOW

Hello pretty skinny bitches (as the product manager calls us at work),
today I am so proudly happy to show you a duo of DJs that is gonna spread their names soon. From the first time they played with the name of Itchy and Scratchy Show in Barcelona, I was there and always tried to be there to support my friends, but also because I knew they were gonna do something big!
And here it is, they send me this video this morning to show their gratitude to me for always supporting them.
I think soon I'll introduce them to you through an interview I'll have with the crazy duo.

Hola pequenyas zorritas ( como nos llama en la oficina el product manager);
hoy estoy orgullosa de presentaros (again) un fantastico duo de DJs que se dara' a conocer pronto. Aunque en Espanya ya esta haciendo mas de todo lo que nos habiamos planteado.
Desde la primera vez que Itchy and Scratchy picharon en un club en Barcelona yo estaba ahi, porque creia en ellos, porque les apoyaba con toda mi alma y porque vamos.....se lo merecen mas que otros seguro. Y desde que les vi desde esa primera vez, ya supe que algo grande iba a pasar.
Y aqui esta, con el video que me han enviado esta manyana para agradecerme todo el apoyo que siempre estoy dispuesta a darles, y la verdad es que si, tuve escalofrios en toda espalda por la felicidad de ver donde han llegado en menos de un anyo.
A ver si consigo organizar una entrevista con ellos para que les conozcais mejor.

es el titulo del libro escrito por Jose Antonio Guerrero, salido a la venta el pasado agosto/septiembre 2009, donde la vuestra cool hunter querida ha sido featured como nuevo talento en este nuevo mundo de la busqueda de tendencias desde la calle!

Se trata de un proyecto de Verena Grotto, italiana de 21 anyos (en 2007) que incluye, ademàs fotografìas de calle, artìculos o informaciones sobre grupos de mùsica y conciertos.
Segùn palabras de la propia creadora: "Appeal to the eye empezò sin ninguna pretensiòn. En junio 2006 me invitò a comer Stefano Rosso, de DIESEL Italy. Como gran amigo mìo que era, me preguntò si podìa hacer de buscador de tendencias desde Barcelona y enviarle cada mes un documento con las fotos sacadas por las calles de la ciudad condal. Confiaba en mis gustos en moda, y mis conocimientos de la ciudad y, sobre todo, en tendencias. Asì que màs que dar el salto desde una simple aficiòn, empezè a tomarme todo màs en serio, personalizando mis encargos, reafirmandome cada dìa y llevando siempre mi camamra conmigo.
VERENA GROTTO inicia su actividad por encargo con la revista.....
